FLOWERS, LAYERS AND LEATHER-PERSONAL OUTFIT

Happy Holidays people.. Christmas is just round the corner and i cant wait!!! Am still enjoying my holiday. Am Kenyan but i have decided to spend my holiday in the Rwanda Capital Kigali. Its such a wonderful country with great weather and wonderful people. Its so chilled out, a very different scene from Nairobi town which has too much noise and cars and people..no offense Kenyans..hehehe..either way home is always best..

Its been a while since i put up some personal outfits. I have been busy with school and work to wear something worth showing. I always like showing my best assets. Which is always my legs and shoulders.. So curvy girls instead of focusing on your Negative focus on your Positives. Everybody is different so no comparing!!! ok too much talking. This is a simple outfit that i would wear out to a club or even dress it down to a wedding. I love the frilly layers at the bottom. It accentuates my curves and hides any negatives.. 🙂 :-). but my sister thinks i look like a salsa dancer in this dress. SMH!!!

the fabric has little tiny flowers..perfect for adding colour to an outfit in this hot weather..

i added a black belt to break the monotony of the dress..

the belt is the tying type..so its flexible and can fit anyone..

i decided to tie the belt to the side..actually looks better.

because the outfit is very colourfull i decided to wear minimal makeup..i have nude lips and i just used liquid eyeliner for my eyes..and ladies dont forget to tweeze the eyebrows

My weekend look..

Hey fabulous people..Monday blues kicking in yet?? I know the weekend is over back to routine now. Well i had a fabulous weekend . Had lunch with my girlfriends and we all had a good laugh. Plus lots of catching up. I just graduated from my undergraduate so its hard finding time for all of us to meet.

Its been such a long time time since i posted a personal outfit. So this weekend i wore this girly chiffon blouse that i bought. It has a little vintage look to it plus i just love the little polka dots that it has.Its my new obsession.!!!! I love the way it skims over my curves at the right places while on the other side hides my negatives.   hehehe..wont say what they are .. So CURVY GIRLS invest in a nice loose chiffon blouse….Anyhoo here are a few pics of the memories that i have of the weekend.. Did a few effects with the colour.. I love the 60s look that the pics have..

Working it out!!!!

a close up of my Chiffon blouse..its kinda see through but it worked so well with my curvy figure

i have decided to wear my hair long...what do u think???

I JUST DISCOVERED THAT I HAVE REALLY HUGE HIPS..more curvaceousness to appreciate..YEAH!! 🙂 🙂

first post..gosh!!! STRIPES STRIPES STRIPES

Let’s face it, most plus size girls cant stand the thought of wearing strips. But come on. You don’t realy have to adhere to the ‘rule’; stripes make you look bigger! Really???? Ok one quick question would you wear anything that has stripes? Hmmmm tough one. I always avoid wearing stripes because I always feel that I look bigger.  But this mentality has to stop. Bottom line some rules are made to be broken. Including  this one. Sooo for my first blog spot..can plus size girls weare stripes??? OFCOURSE WE CAN..

pics from google images

What I do is wear vertical stripes because it slims down my hips. But if you are top heavy horizontal stripes can even your bady shape out. Anyhoo this are some pics that I took of my night outfit!!! Lets all go out and wear stripes girls.Curvy girls can wear stripes.

too tired to stand.i think its the heels

stripes for my bottom half of the dress creates a contrast for the top. i love the vertical stripes which creates an illusion of a slimmer bottom.plus a cinch belt to bring out my curvy figure 😀
